Claremont Beach, Howth
I never knew that Claremont Beach was in Howth and given that it lies on the wrong side of the DART tracks, I am fairly sure that very few people are aware of this well hidden beach.
To get to it you need to walk through a lane that runs beside the DART station through the industrial environs of the West Pier
At low water Claremont beach becomes one with Sutton’s Burrow Beach, known to locals as the Hole-In- The-Wall beach.
Parking is available in Howth, but both Claremont and Burrow are best reached by DART.
Burrow Beach is a tourist attraction, one of the Beaches in Sutton, Ireland. It is located: 36 km from Dublin, 630 km from Liverpool, 900 km from Birmingham. Read further
